Lids Sports Group is the largest licensed sports retailer in North America, selling fan and fashion-oriented headwear and apparel across the US, Canada, Mexico, Europe, and Australia. Operating out of Indianapolis, IN, our retail stores offer officially licensed headwear and apparel from collegiate and professional sports teams, plus top brands like Nike, New Era, Adidas, and Mitchell & Ness.

We currently operate 1,300+ locations, including specialty concept stores for the NBA, NHL, Paris Saint-Germain, and numerous MLB teams. Internship Overview

Lids offers a comprehensive internship program across multiple professional disciplines in the fast-paced world of sports, retail and fashion.

Students will work at the Lids Corporate Office in Indianapolis, IN under the guidance of mentors while engaging in real career-related activities. Interns will have the opportunity to present their business projects to the Lids Leadership team and other key members of the organization. The program is designed to complement and expand the students' classroom education and offers an opportunity to gain marketable career experience

What You'll Be Doing

· Support the Lids field operations team through involvement in operational finance activities relating to store wages, store scheduling structure, and hours distribution.

· Develop daily reporting on key business performance metrics to track, evaluate performance, forecast opportunities and results.

· Develop ad-hoc reports on an as-need basis and communicate key takeaways to senior leadership, District Sales Managers, including identifying opportunities or risks.

· Partner closely with Lids District Sales Managers on performance results to find areas of opportunities to increase store performance.

· Assists in identifying, developing, and analyzing new store wage/schedule structure and key operational initiatives. Making recommendations to management for improvement in any aspects relating to increase store performance.

· Aid in the development and maintenance of the long-range strategic forecast to provide the business with financial insight into current growth plans.

· Create, analyze, and provide actionable data to answer business questions, while ultimately providing data-driven stories to improve results for Lids Retail Functions.

· Coordinating with other interns and team members on projects

Internship Requirements

· For consideration to participate in the internship program, an applicant must have a 3.0 minimum GPA and wither be a full-time student pursuing a baccalureate or higher degree in a finance-related field at an accredited college/university or attending an accredited 2-year college/university.

· A selected student must be present for the duration of the internship from 6/2/25-8/1/25.

· This internship is fully on-site at our corporate office in Indianapolis - if not local, you must be willing to relocate to the Indianapolis area for the summer.

· Expected to graduate between December of 2025 and May 2026 (Junior Status
