Salary

$17.47 - $27.07 Hourly

$36,332 - $56,314 Annually

This position is a Pay Band 50

Why does the job exist?

Assists a team and program managers in support of daily office operations to include file management, administrative budgets, fiscal processes and personnel functions.

How does it get done?

Performs technical and logistical duties essential to maintaining oversight of team administrative and personnel functions. Assists in preparing administrative budget requests, identifying budget needs, reviewing area budgets on an ongoing basis to facilitate service delivery activities efficiently and effectively. Provide administrative support to program managers in managing and maintaining oversight of program and service delivery activities as well as in conducting analysis to improve efficiency.

Ideal Candidate

Associates Degree in business, administration (four years work experience in these fields may be considered in lieu of education) Two years experience in fiscal processing Two years experience in accounts payable and budget management. Two years experience using Microsoft Office

Minimum Qualification

High School diploma or Equivalent and one (1) year of related experience in office administration. Substitutions Apply. See Substitution Table below.

Employment Requirements

May be required to travel.

Working Conditions

Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage. Possible exposure to irate clients. Incumbent will work under stress and frequent time constraints. Some statewide travel is required. Computer use, long periods of sitting. Some travel may be required and occasionally out of state. May require overtime. Must be able to lift up to 20lbs
