Benefits Highlights
The Audiology Tech is responsible for repairing hearing aids and performing hearing screening. Prepares patients for testing and maintaining equipment to assist the audiologist. Maintains the front office including ordering, scheduling, answering phones, and other administrative and clerical support functions. Performs other duties as assigned by Audiologists, Supervisor and/or Section Head.
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required.
Three years of experience in health care environment, Admissions, Registration, Insurance Verification, Precertification preferred. Experience with hearing aids and dispensing programs desirable. Knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 coding and medical terminology preferred. Keyboard experience, basic computer knowledge, Microsoft Word, and Excel preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, ability to function independently required. None
