Market Bar is now hiring for ALL of our concepts: Market Bar and Market Bar Vinoteca, both located in North Market Bridge Park in Dublin, and Grandview Vinoteca, located on Grandview Ave. in Grandview Heights. We'll cross-train you!
Hospitality experience is definitely preferred! A willingness to always be a student, an encouraging/supportive attitude, and ability to prioritize & work independently is top of our list.
All of our bars can only function well if we work as a team & are considerate of each other. We are a close knit group, and our regulars grant us a lot of creative freedom behind the bar. Our bar culture is fast paced, influenced by neighborhood events, and built to be as efficient as possible for both bartenders & guests. Although we love to build relationships with our guests at the bar top, This is a bar environment where staff does not indulge on the clock. Being knowledgable of classic cocktails, and being willing to build on your wine knowledge, is definitely an expectation here.
Day to Day, you will be accountable for (examples, not exhaustive list):
-Counting & closing drawers
-Maintaining a clean, organized bar space
-Responsible serving of guests
-Know the menu & be able to suggest options to a guest
-Prep garnishes & stock juices/RTD
-Serving guests in a welcoming & efficient way
-Arrive on time to your shift
-Be aware of your environment, both in terms of guests & prep
-Knowledge of classic cocktail specs
