Located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis, our hotel blends modern amenities with classic design elements, providing an oasis in one of the Midwest’s most vibrant cities.

Job Summary:

Your role is integral to delivering a memorable guest experience, and you will also assist with maintaining bar supplies, record keeping, cash handling, and processing credit transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow team members to ensure seamless operations and a unified approach to exceptional guest service.

Qualifications:

- Experience: Preferably one year of bartending or mixology experience.
- Certification: Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit where applicable.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and wine merchandising specials.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills; must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Skills: Familiarity with bar terminology and drink service protocols; proven ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Legal Requirements: Must meet the minimum age requirement as defined by jurisdiction.

Physical & Safety Requirements:

- Stamina: Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods during the shift.
- Strength: Capable of lifting and carrying items up to 30 pounds as needed.
- Environment: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with repetitive motions and occasional high-volume service periods.
- Safety Compliance: Commitment to following all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a secure and efficient work environment.
