The Law Office of MJ Lee represents businesses of all sizes and individuals seeking new and life-changing opportunities in the matters of U.S. Business and Family Immigration Laws. Our firm is headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, with a branch office in Seoul, Korea. We specialize in a broad spectrum of U.S. immigration issues, from EB1 and National Interest Waivers for engineers and researchers to non-immigrant visa applications.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Immigration Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in immigration law, be capable of managing a large caseload, and have a strong understanding of immigration procedures and documentation requirements. This role involves providing support to attorneys in preparing and filing immigration petitions and applications, as well as interacting with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with the preparation and filing of various immigration applications.
  • Draft, proofread, and prepare legal documents and correspondence.
  • Maintain client files and case management systems, ensuring that deadlines are met and records are up-to-date.
  • Coordinate and communicate with clients, providing updates and gathering necessary documentation.
  • Prepare and organize supporting documentation for filings with USCIS, NVC, immigration court, and other relevant agencies.
  • Manage calendaring of deadlines and appointments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited program preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in immigration law as a paralegal or legal assistant.
  • Proficiency with case management software (e.g., INSZoom)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Bilingual in [e.g., Spanish, Korean, Mandarin] preferred but not required.
