Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in drafting and design, with proficiency in various CAD software. This role involves creating detailed drawings and schematics for construction and mechanical design projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
Responsibilities - Develop and prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and translate them into technical drawings.
- Create construction documents, schematics, and mechanical designs that meet project specifications.
- Utilize software tools like SketchUp, NavisWorks, Civil 3D, and MicroStation to enhance design presentations and project visualization.
- Review designs for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports as needed.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on design improvements or modifications.
Skills - Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, MicroStation, and NavisWorks.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and construction practices.
- Ability to create accurate schematics and drafting layouts.
- Familiarity with 2D animation techniques is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members across various disciplines.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
