Wine N Cheese Day Spa in Fairfield, CT is looking for one charcuterie board prep pt/ft to join our 22 person strong team. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and engaged.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and slice various types of meats and cheeses for customers
• Assist customers in selecting and purchasing charcuterie items
• Ensure products are fresh and properly labeled with expiration dates
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management regarding restocking needs
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new products
• Provide exceptional customer service and address any customer concerns
• Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures at all times

Requirements:

• Experience in preparing and handling a variety of meats, including but not limited to, pork, beef, and poultry.
• Knowledge of different curing and smoking techniques.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Ability to operate and maintain various equipment such as slicers, grinders, and smokers.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Effective communication skills to work as part of a team and with customers.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects.
