Job Description
Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Director, the QSP Clinical Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the daily functioning of the QSP Program. This often includes facilitating or co-facilitating individual and group supervisions, approving clinical documents, assisting with medical records requests, providing support for clinical situations, and assisting the Clinical Director with the daily operation of the program.

JOB DUTIES
Provide clinical support to QSP staff (intake specialists, CMs, YFSS staff, medical staff, and clinicians) in an ethical, culturally competent, and clinically sound manner. This frequently entails facilitating and/or co-facilitating individual and group supervisions to ensure legal, procedural and ethical decisions are made. This also can include participating in counseling sessions and CFTs for the purpose of providing additional clinical support during crises or complex situations.
Reviews and approves clinical documents to ensure compliance with managed health organizations and regulatory agencies' requirements and audit standards. Ensures that all medical records are in accordance to agency and licensure standards including confidentiality and professionalism.
In collaboration with the Clinical Director, review medical records requests and collaborate with the AYFS Medical Records Department to compile and send records as requested through an agency/stakeholder release of information and AHCCCS Insurance plans request for records.
Participate in rotating on-call administrator schedule for after-hours telephonic support and guidance to staff working in the field and families served by AYFS.
Maintain appropriate continuing education requirements to ensure uninterrupted independent licensure and supervisory ability per AzBBHE requirements. Maintain current knowledge of evidence-based, culturally competent, family-focused approaches to support effective interventions for a diverse population of children and families.
Demonstrate open communication with clinical, medical, and administrative staff as well as parents / caregivers, clients and other service providers. May include verbal and written contact with outside agencies which will require professionalism and confidentiality in accordance with company policy.
Meet or exceed documentation deadlines and expectations.
Ability to work independently and within a team setting.
Must be eligible to receive and maintain a DPS fingerprint clearance.
Perform other duties, assignments, and responsibilities as assigned or required to meet the needs/goals of Arizona Youth & Family Services, Inc.
