Are you a top-performing commercial lender looking to expand your reach in the Southeast Michigan market? A growing community bank is seeking an experienced Commercial Lender to develop and expand their presence in the Detroit area. This role is ideal for a motivated banking professional with a strong book of business and a passion for relationship-driven lending.

What You'll Do:

Develop and grow a commercial loan portfolio with a focus on Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and Commercial Real Estate (CRE) lending.
Leverage your existing relationships to attract new clients and deepen existing ones.
Work directly with business owners, executives, and referral sources to provide tailored lending solutions.
Partner with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service and streamlined loan processing.
Actively represent the bank at networking events, industry associations, and community gatherings to build brand awareness.

What You Bring:

3+ years of commercial lending experience in Southeast Michigan, with a focus on the Detroit market.
Proven track record of business development and strong COI (Centers of Influence) within the region.
Established book of business that can transition into a new banking environment.
Deep understanding of C&I and CRE lending, credit analysis, and risk assessment.
Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative banking culture.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
