About the Position 

We’re looking for a Creative Project Manager who will collaborate with our Account Manager, Associate Creative Director (ACD), and our automotive client’s Brand Marketing team to launch and then support a new Creative & Production services function. You’ll act as a touch point across the entire business for creative and brand marketing needs, managing all operational touchpoints in bringing projects to life on time and within budget. The role calls for great communication, excellent attention to detail, an operational mindset, and a knack for problem-solving. 

Requirements

What you’ll be responsible for: 

  • Oversee the intake and completion of all projects requested of the Creative Services Department through Adobe Workfront. 
  • Oversee the allocation of tasks for a creative team, providing clear project briefs with deliverables, requirements, and guidelines.
  • Assign work based on team members' capacity and strengths, and address any resource-related issues to ensure project success.
  • Create project timelines and prioritize projects by working cross-functionally with account, creative, and marketing leadership. 
  • Serve as the day-to-day liaison between the creative team and our cross-functional partners, communicating project status, potential issues, and proposed solutions with stakeholders through every phase of project.  
  • Oversee departmental operations and procedures and work with account, creative, and marketing leadership to identify pain points, implement solutions, and outline long-term improvements from resourcing to scoping to timelines. 
  • Ensure deliverables are proofread, approved, and delivered by appropriate parties on time. 
  • Deliver assets to partners, including marketing, web, and print production partners. 
  • Collaborate with the client’s initiative managers and marketing on activities to meet timings based on overall project schedules. 
  • Gather and process stakeholder feedback, ensure all tasks have been delegated, and next steps are progressing. 
  • Develop project documentation, including timelines, staff plan, scope of work, and status updates. 

The skills and experience you should have: 

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in project management, production, or brand operations. 
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. 

It's a plus if you have:

  • Energy, a sense of humor, and an open and curious mind. 

  • Expert in Adobe Workfront or equivalent tools. 

  • Solid grammar, editing, and proofreading capabilities. 

  • Ability to think strategically and conceptualize creatively. 

  • Know what’s trending, what’s great work and the difference between the two. 

  • Strong presentation and verbal communication skills. 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Incredibly organized with outstanding attention to detail. 

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
