We collaborate closely with diverse stakeholders, including Sales, R&D, Marketing, and Operations, to optimize data-driven decisions. In this pivotal role, you'll analyze and interpret complex data sets to provide actionable insights that will inform key internal stakeholders. Your expertise will have a direct impact on our Research & Development and Sales teams, aiding them in making data-driven decisions that enhance our product offerings and customer experiences. Not only will you share these invaluable insights with our internal teams, but you'll also communicate them to our customers to optimize product performance.

As the driving force behind our industry-leading performance optimization platform, you'll ensure the best possible performance of Bluberi products across all customer locations. Hands-on experience with Tableau is essential, as it's our primary tool for business intelligence and data visualization.

Essential Functions

Data Entry and Maintenance : Ensure timely and accurate data entry, including monthly performance clean-up and finance data entry. Maintain the integrity and accuracy of all data inputs.

Database Management: Manage and maintain critical support tables such as property details, serial number lookups, and meter reads for elite units, ensuring comprehensive database integrity.

Data Import and Accuracy: Oversee the import of essential industry-specific datasets, ensuring all data adheres to established standards and protocols.

Collaborative Data Handling: Work collaboratively with the product team and other departments to manage monthly data requests, integrate departmental data into the central warehouse, and promote data standardization across the organization .

Data Processing and Reporting: Process specific datasets and develop ETL processes for new data sources. Provide basic reporting for ad-hoc data requests to support data-driven decision-making.

Standardization and Optimization: Actively participate in the standardization of data formats and procedures to enhance data usability and reliability across systems

Required Education And Experience

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • Analytics Experience: 2+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably in the gaming or entertainment industry.
  • Microsoft Excel: Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
  • Office Applications: Strong knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is a plus.
  • SQL: Solid understanding and hands-on experience with SQL for database querying and data manipulation.
  • Data Visualization Tools: Experience with data visualization tools is required, with a special emphasis on proficiency in Tableau.

Preferred Education And Experience

  • Casino Gaming Knowledge: Familiarity with the casino gaming industry is considered a strong plus.
  • Programming Languages: Knowledge of programming languages such as Python and/or R for advanced data analysis.
  • Statistical Analysis: Strong statistical analysis skills, including but not limited to regression analysis, cluster analysis, and hypothesis testing.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting findings and collaborating with both internal teams and external customers.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially when handling complex data and making recommendations.
  • Customer-Facing Skills: Prior experience in roles requiring client or customer interactions, especially in presenting data-driven insights.
