Job Description

Salary: $30,000 - 55,000 per year Requirements:

  • Strong leadership qualities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to handle multiple competing demands under pressure.
  • Proficient analytical and managerial capabilities, experienced with Agile methodology, and actively involved in scrums such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, and execution.
  • Background in data governance and data management with a solid grasp of best practices.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proven experience in managing data and processes in a global enterprise environment, with an understanding of database and schema design.
  • Effective communication skills, adept at both listening and expressing ideas to diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong conceptual and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for developing innovative and structured solutions.
  • Capable of influencing relevant parties to ensure that project milestones are achieved.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision and deliver in a results-oriented fashion.
  • Project management experience using Agile execution methodology.
  • People leadership experience, inspiring and building momentum within a global team while also being a collaborative team player, willing to help when necessary.
  • Technical skills: Working with large data sets, Collibra, Solidatus, MS Excel.
  • Preferred background in Banking or Financial Services, especially in Corporate Trust or related Issuer Services.
Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary liaison with key stakeholders in Product, Operations, and Enterprise Data Management to enhance the maturity of the Corporate Trust data management framework.
  • Assist in establishing enterprise and business-level data principles, standards, and guidelines for the Conventional Trust / Structured Debt Data Office.
  • Represent the Structured Debt Data Office in broader enterprise-wide data initiatives.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of key data attributes necessary for Conventional Trust / Structured Debt products and business functions.
  • Implement processes and controls aimed at improving data quality and usability.
  • Review, suggest, and implement best practices to foster continuous improvements in data management.
  • Serve as a go-to resource for inquiries related to data governance and guide the resolution of issues.
  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to conduct analyses and create detailed project documentation, including requirements documents and data roadmaps.
  • Oversee the activities of the data management teams within the group.
  • Support the evolution, implementation, and integration of data governance tools and technologies for data governance initiatives.
  • Regularly evaluate and refine data governance processes and policies in accordance with industry best practices to promote continuous improvement.
  • Exhibit management expertise and influence to identify, assess, and recommend potential objectives to support the delivery of data management services.
