Job Title: Data Quality Specialist

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data quality frameworks, policies, and best practices
• Design, implement, and monitor data validation rules, cleansing routines, and matching algorithms
• Conduct regular data profiling and data lineage analyses to identify anomalies, duplicates, and gaps
• Collaborate with business units to define data quality metrics, dashboards, and SLAs
• Lead root-cause investigations and remediation efforts for data quality issues
• Partner with ETL developers, DBAs, and system integrators to embed quality checks into data pipelines
• Train and support data stewards on data governance processes and tools
• Prepare and present data quality reports and insights to senior management

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
• Hands-on experience in data quality, data governance, or data management
• Proficiency with data profiling and cleansing tools (e.g., Informatica DQ, Talend, Trifacta)
• Strong SQL skills for querying and analyzing large datasets
• Experience with data modeling concepts and metadata management
• Excellent analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills; ability to translate technical findings to business audiences
• Experience in MDM (Master Data Management) platforms (e.g., Informatica MDM, IBM InfoSphere)
• Experience with data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK)
• Knowledge of cloud data platforms (AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, Google Cloud Dataflow)
• Understanding of regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA)
• Scripting skills (Python, R) for automation of data quality tasks
• Certification in data governance or quality (e.g., CDP, IBM Certified Data Engineer)
• Federal Experience is a plus.
