Many hands make for light work! We are seeking a motivated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our growing family dental practice at Green Dental Delaware. We our a family owned practice with a large team, meaning there is always a friendly face to lend a helping hand. One of your kiddos give you a cold? We offer paid sick days, and are very flexible with our team when time off is required. Running behind on a patient? One of our assistants is often available to assist and help get you back on schedule. We work hard to make our work environment as stress free as possible, while still providing excellent care for our dedicated patients. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in helping our patients maintain their oral health and overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and prophylaxis
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide individualized recommendations for at-home care
- Conduct thorough periodontal evaluations and identify any areas of concern or disease
- Take digital x-rays
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Follow all infection control procedures to ensure the safety of patients and staff
- Continually seek opportunities for professional growth and stay current on advancements in dental hygiene techniques and technologies
Hygiene Highlights:
- 50 minute recall appointments with additional time if needed. You control your schedule! If you have a patient that needs more time, we encourage our hygienist to schedule as much time as needed for there next recall.
- 1-hour new patient appointments w/ assistants ready to handle more complicated situations (ex. FMX required, large treatment plans, etc.)

Requirements:
- Current state license in dental hygiene
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Proficient in digital x-rays, charting software, and other relevant dental technologies
