The Director of Dining Services will be the on-site account lead for outstanding hospitality and operational excellence for a designated corporate client.
This position is primarily Monday through Friday with daytime hours (evenings as required). Strong experience with retail marketing, financial acumen, PowerPoint and Excel are important in this role. Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the successful day-to-day foodservice operations of an account
• Ensure outstanding client and guest satisfaction
• Manage a team of salaried and hourly associates
• Ensure financial success of the account
• Interview, hire, and train associates; plans, assigns, and directs work; appraises performance; rewards and disciplines associates; addresses complaints and resolves problems
Preferred Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5+ years of direct experience managing foodservice operations
• Knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, safety and presentation
• Supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal on various levels to include management, client, customer and associate levels
• Strong computer skills to include various computer programs, Microsoft Office programs, e-mail and the Internet
