We are seeking enthusiastic early childhood education Lead and Assistant Teachers to join our amazing team of dedicated professionals. You will work in a dynamic classroom culture of trusting and cohesive team members, and form bonds with your students. You will have fun playing and engaging with the children, creating activities, and bringing to the table your ideas and support to develop the classroom.

Pay ranges vary by role.

Lead Teachers: $18+ based on experience

Assistant Teachers: $16-$18 per hour

Full-Time Schedules between 7:30 am - 6:30 pm
Monday – Friday
No Nights or Weekends

Age Groups:

Full-Time Toddler Lead Teachers
Full-Time Infant Assistant Teachers
Full-Time 2-Yr-Old Assistant Teachers

Minimum Requirements:

Lead Teachers (Must have one of the two to qualify):

• 60 semester hours, with 6 being related to ECE and/or Child Development
• One year of child development experience in a nursery school, kindergarten, or licensed day care center and 30 semester hours, with 6 being ECE or related field

Assistant Teachers:

• High School Diploma
• 1 Year Assistant Teaching Experience in a classroom OR 1 year working with children (preferred)
• Must meet all DCFS requirements, including passing background checks.
• Able to stand for long periods, frequently walk, sit on the floor and play with children, and lift a 40 lb child in an emergency. This is a physically ACTIVE role
• Hourly pay is based on education, experience, and role position
