Position Overview:

• Partner with classroom teachers to support English language development across all subject areas.
  
• Provide one-on-one and small group lessons to address the unique needs of ELL students.
  
• Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning atmosphere where all students can thrive.
  
• Establish and maintain clear expectations for student behavior to promote a secure and effective learning environment.
  
• Regularly evaluate student progress and adjust instructional strategies to ensure continuous language development.
  
• Develop and execute instructional plans for English Language Learners (ELL), ensuring they meet both school and state guidelines.
  

Requirements

• Hold a Florida PEL with an ESL endorsement.
  
• Previous experience as an ESL Teacher or relevant role.
  
• Experience working with students of diverse language backgrounds.
  
• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required. A Master’s degree in TESOL or a related field is a plus.
