Description Our sales representatives guide the customer journey from inquiry to estimation. We're looking for customer enthusiasts who can help home and business owners navigate a major remodeling investment. While you will certainly be expected to soak up product knowledge, your most important trait is the ability to bond with prospective customers. You're the kind of person that customers naturally like and trust.
Our best associates view themselves as a business within the business, leveraging their personal brands alongside our powerful national and local branding. As such, you should be equally comfortable greeting customers in the showroom and promoting our store through your professional and personal networks. While you place a premium on the customer experience, you also don't hesitate to close when the time is right. You have the conviction to do what's right for your customers by helping them acquire the flooring of their dreams! Since most of our products are installed, you should also care deeply about the beauty and quality of a job done right. Take care of our customers and you can look forward to a competitive income with regular hours and a ton of satisfaction.
Duties Expectations for the Flooring Sales Representative - Maintain a clean and neat showroom
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Prospect for new business
- Handle sales from start to estimation
- Persistent follow up
- Strong closer
- Sell flooring and floor care products
- Answer customer questions
- Help customer with decorating and/or design advice
- A strong belief that you are the best option for the client
- Manage time in the showroom
- Undergo extensive product and sales training to become a certified flooring and design expert
- Keep up-to-date on the wide selection of floors we offer along with the benefits and warranties provided by each
Requirements Qualifications for the Flooring Sales Representative - College degree a plus, but not required
- Retail sales experience a plus
- Passion and/or experience in flooring sales, decorating, or designing
- Strong closer
- Persistent follow up
- A strong belief that you are the best option for the client
- Positive attitude and a strong desire to exceed expectations
- Self-starter
- Personally well-organized
- Microsoft Office or Google Workspace a plus
- Flexible work hours to include Saturdays
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
Benefits What We Offer - Guarantee: $40,000 annually plus bonuses. Earning potential of $50,000 annually and above
