About the Role
The Human Resources Generalist will manage key human resources functions including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration within a manufacturing environment. This role supports employee engagement, fosters a positive workplace culture, and ensures efficient HR operations. Responsibilities include full-cycle talent acquisition, HR policy administration, and benefits coordination. Responsibilities:

  • Administer daily human resources operations including onboarding, benefits enrollment, and personnel file management.
  • Coordinate full-cycle recruitment including job postings, applicant screening, interview scheduling, and offer letter preparation.
  • Manage benefits-related activities including open enrollment, employee assistance, and claims support.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws as well as internal human resources policies.
  • Assist in developing, revising, and implementing human resources policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
  • Generate human resources reports and maintain accurate records for audits and internal reviews.
  • Maintain and update human resources information systems (HRIS) to ensure accurate and timely employee data.
  • Support learning and development programs and track employee training participation.
  • Conduct new hire orientations and coordinate employee engagement activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a human resources generalist or human resources coordinator.
  • Knowledge of employment laws including FMLA, ADA, EEO, and labor law compliance.
  • Proficiency with human resources information systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Understanding of payroll processes and employee benefits administration.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) for recruitment and hiring.
  • Background in employee training, development initiatives, or human resources project management.
