Mobile Health Team Inc., a staffing agency has an opening for a Registered Nurse - ICU . We are looking for someone with a passion for people.

Location: Rockford, IL 61103

Assignment Start Date: 1/8/2025

13 weeks | Days | 12-hour shift | 36 hours guaranteed weekly

Seeking an experienced ICU Nurse

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments following approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, standards of care, and State laws/practice acts.
• Documents according to standards of care.
• Develops, initiates, and executes a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient, as prescribed by Physician and/or hospital policy including patient and family instruction.
• Participates in department or unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance.
• Utilizes clinical expertise & guidance to other units/departments in support of the patient's longitudinal plan of care.
• Utilizes critical thinking regarding patient safety and patient experience and appropriately escalates to the appropriate chain of command.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

• Must have Neuro, Cardiac, and vent experience;

Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registration:

• IL RN licensure is required
• Must have CPR, ACLS & NIHSS

EMR System: EPIC experience preferred

Shift: Days, 7A - 7:30P; every other weekend & holiday

Float Requirement: Travel RN may be required to float to the Step-Down ICU unit.

Vaccination: Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and the flu vaccine.
