"We are seeking a (Nurse Supervisor - LTC) for a 08-weeks travel/contract assignment in Oswego, New York 13126. Both local and traveler candidates are welcome to apply."

Job Details:

• Shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM (12-hour Night Shifts)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Pay Rate: $2124 - $2304

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on assigned shift.
• Ensure that resident care needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
• Monitor and support the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care.
• Handle staffing issues, assign nursing duties, and ensure proper coverage.
• Respond to emergencies, resident concerns, and incident reports appropriately.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, federal and state regulations.
• Document nursing actions accurately and timely.
• Participate in shift reports and ensure proper handoffs between shifts.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff as needed.

Requirements:

• Active RN License in the State of New York.
• Minimum 1 year of RN supervisory experience in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting.
• One year of Medical/Surgical and Gerontology experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Current BLS/CPR certification. Required
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Travel & Local Considerations:

• Candidates outside a 50-mile radius qualify for travel pay.
