Responsibilities:
• Maintain databases, records, and bookkeeping, ensuring all paperwork is up to date
• Aid policyholders with the insurance claims process while supervising the progress of current insurance claims
• Grow new business by generating a prospective customer base and advertise our insurance products via networking, asking for referrals, cold calling, and other marketing strategies
• Identify new client insurance needs, insurance risk, goals, current coverage, and financial situation by scheduling meetings for new customers, ensuring a personalized experience
• Address existing and prospective customer requests in a prompt and friendly matter, including booking new meetings and responding to inquiries regarding billing, eligibility, coverage, claims, and insurance policies
Qualifications:
• Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED; a Bachelor’s degree is a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Active Life & Health insurance license is a strong bonus
• Customer service or experience as a sales representative are highly valued
• Previous health insurance or life insurance experience a plus
• Strong work ethic: You recognize the irreplaceable value of hard work and what it takes to achieve your financial goals
• High integrity: You uphold high standards of professionalism and ethics and embrace the opportunity to become a highly visible member of your community
• Proven history of leadership/management: You have a proven background in building and managing within a business development role
• Life and Health Insurance License (Preferred)
