About the Role:

We're seeking a talented and versatile marketer to help accelerate our growth and take our brand to the next level. As one of our first marketing hires, you'll play a key role in shaping our marketing strategy and driving demand generation efforts across multiple channels.
Reporting to the Marketing Lead, you'll co-own the entire marketing playbook, from planning and development to execution and performance measurement. You'll be responsible for running demand generation activities, including paid advertising, and helping to build our pipeline and brand presence. This is an exciting opportunity to have a direct impact on our company's growth trajectory.
Location:
While we are a semi-remote company with hubs in San Francisco and Boston, we're particularly looking for candidates based in the San Francisco Bay Area to facilitate in-person collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
As a marketing generalist with a focus on demand generation, you'll be involved in a variety of exciting tasks and projects, including:
Multi-Channel Campaigns: Plan and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital advertising, email, social media, and events.
Events & Conferences: Coordinate our presence at industry events and conferences, from sponsorship management to booth setup and post-event follow-up.
Demand Generation: Build and implement lead generation programs that help drive growth and awareness.
Social Media: Grow our social media presence by creating and posting engaging content, as well as developing a broader strategy for community engagement.
Content Creation: Develop high-impact content and marketing collateral, including blog posts, case studies, and website copy.
Sales Enablement: Provide the sales team with the tools and materials they need, answering questions and supplying collateral as needed.
This is a hands-on role where you'll have the opportunity to shape the marketing strategy and experiment with new approaches. You'll work closely with leaders across the company and bring your creativity and marketing expertise to drive growth.
Specific Tasks:
Lead Lists: Identify and create targeted lead lists matching our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) using tools like LinkedIn, RocketReach, and public district websites.
Cold Outreach: Write and send personalized cold emails to prospects, working with the team to scale outreach efforts.
Website Management: Collaborate to manage website content, ensuring that our messaging is up to date and aligned with our brand strategy.
Webinars: Organize and execute webinars, from securing speakers to running campaigns that drive registrations and engagement.
Content Development: Write blog posts, repurpose content for social media, and craft compelling messages for email campaigns.
Event Management: Manage event calendars, handle event logistics, and coordinate with the team for seamless execution.
Qualifications:
We're looking for a marketing professional who is:
Experienced: 4-8 years in marketing, with a strong background in demand generation and digital marketing. You should have experience running campaigns and the ability to share examples of campaigns you've developed, as well as the results achieved.
Creative: You can take a concept from start to finish, create compelling messaging, and adapt to changing needs and priorities.
Detail-Oriented: You're able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, keeping everything on track and meeting deadlines.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with tools like HubSpot, Canva, Asana, and others to manage campaigns and track performance.
Flexible: Comfortable working independently in a dynamic startup environment and able to manage competing priorities with ease.
Bonus Points For:
Experience in the education or edtech space.
Familiarity with event management, from securing sponsorships to post-event reporting.

Compensation:
Salary range: $90,000 - $140,000
