Job Description

**Job Description Summary** Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and also within departments) according to production schedules. Plan and schedule material/production needs. Accountable for the quality of own work. Contributes to projects and initiatives, influences at the site level and determines and executes to operational standards and processes, and requires understanding of a concepts, methods and procedures. Work to resolve Materials issues while achieving & maintaining inventory business & metrics. This role is Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM **Job Description** **Roles and Responsibilities** - Responsible for material ordering, availability, and scheduling while meeting targeted inventory levels - Oracle and MRP expert - Ensure systemic accuracy of inventory - Rescheduling materials for pull ins (expedites) and push outs (for inventory control) - Daily Shortage root cause investigation and resolution - Partner closely with suppliers focusing on: Packaging needs, materials replenishment planning, root-cause problem solving - Conduct daily walks on the floor and the receiving dock to investigate and resolve material issues - Support material transfers, supplier reviews w/Sourcing - Manage Phase In / Phase Out (NPI) to minimize obsolete material - Provide supply analysis data and recommendations as necessary - Assist in cycle count efforts as determined - Support all lean activities, initiatives, and action workouts **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with at least 2 -4 years of experience in Manufacturing **Desired Characteristics** + Computer proficiency + Working knowledge of MRP + Excellent Interpersonal Skills + Strong problem solving skills + APICS Certification + Six Sigma Green Belt + Strong communication skills + Ability to work independently **Additional Information** GE HealthCare offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
