We are looking for a skilled Medical Receptionist to join our team in San Francisco, California. This is a long-term contract position that offers the opportunity to work in a highly organized healthcare environment and contribute to excellent patient care. Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming atmosphere at the front desk.
- Answer inbound calls promptly and assist with scheduling appointments or addressing inquiries.
- Maintain patient charts and records using EHR systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Perform billing functions, including processing payments and verifying insurance details.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to streamline communication and scheduling.
- Utilize software such as Allscripts, Cerner, Dentrix, and Eaglesoft to manage patient information.
- Check patients in and out, ensuring all required documentation is completed.
- Generate charts and graphs to support data analysis and reporting.
- Assist with general administrative tasks, including managing emails and correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with office policies and procedures to maintain operational efficiency.

Requirements
- At least one year of customer service experience, preferably within the healthcare industry.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Knowledge of healthcare software such as Allscripts, Cerner, Dentrix, and Eaglesoft.
- Proficiency in handling electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- A detail-oriented approach with a commitment to providing excellent patient service.
- Availability to start quickly and adapt to the team's schedule.
