Job Description

The Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate Mobile Phlebotomists to join our team. Responsibilities

  • Conduct mobile blood collections at various locations following stringent safety protocols.
  • Engage with donors to explain the donation process and ensure a positive experience.
  • Perform venipuncture and collect blood samples accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organizational standards of mobile collection units.
  • Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines in accordance with industry regulations.
  • Document all donor information and maintain accurate records of collections.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline operations and enhance donor engagement.

Requirements

  • Current certification in Phlebotomy from an accredited program.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in phlebotomy or related field preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records and donation databases.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for mobile outreach duties.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare certifications are a plus.
