Resident - Storage Management Consultant - Google Inc. - RTP (Hybrid)

Our East region has a need for a new resident Consultant to support Google Inc. This will be a 12 month residency with a target start date of 1/6/25 and is likely to renew. There will be 2 QBRs a year (one to RTP and one to San Jose) - there may also be a couple of trips in the beginning to establish relationships/etc. Nothing 'in office' other than that.

Scope of work:
1. Location: 90% remote 10% Onsite
2. Full time PS resident - 12 months & likely to renew

Our resident will be asked to assist the CPOC architects in setting up environments and running tests. Solid sysadmin skills will be needed: shell and python scripting, ansible, networking, server and storage configuration, storage protocols.

Help grow the Tier-1 service provider account. Help demonstrate NetApp product features and fit for cloud platform that runs their business.

Position is a long-term funded role working closely with the customer, account team, and internal NetApp technical experts.

Activities include:
Defining and building proof of concepts to demonstrate NetApp capabilities within customer environment
Consult on system design and behavior
Assist customer in defining and developing operational processes that center around reliability, security, and performance.
Assist customer in architecting and integrating NetApp storage into various virtual computing environments

Cloud platform understanding and experience desired
System architecture for large-scale environments desired

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $50-80/Hr
