Northern California Sales Representative (South Bay) | Siena Imports

Siena Imports is an Italian wine importer based in San Francisco that was founded in 1978. We import roughly 40 wineries (over 150 wines) with a strong emphasis on Tuscany, which is where we are from. We are seeking a candidate with sales experience and wine knowledge to maintain and grow our South Bay business with restaurant and retail customers. We are a tight knit, family owned business with a strong foundation and a vision to grow.

Qualifications
Two years of sales experience.
Wine knowledge (certification preferred, not required).
License and vehicle needed to drive and frequently visit customers.
Ability to do some moderate lifting of wine cases if needed.
Baseline technology skills to navigate our Sales and Ordering Software Vinosmith.
Solutions oriented.
Optimism.

Job Description
Maintain and grow the customer base in the South Bay (San Jose - Daly City)
Build relationships to open new accounts.
Develop product knowledge to accurately represent our wineries.
Represent producers at annual wine events. Ie: Slow Wine, Tre Bicchieri, Great Wines of Italy, Barolo/Barbaresco World Opening.
Conduct staff training for restaurant staff to better understand and sell our wines.
Host retail tastings and events.
Understand unique customer needs and offer solutions accordingly.
