Job Description:

We are seeking a professional, observant, and dependable Part-Time Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of integrity, excellent situational awareness, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises, interior and exterior
• Monitor surveillance systems and access control points
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies promptly and professionally
• Complete detailed written reports on observations, incidents, and daily activities
• Enforce property rules and policies
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a strong security presence
• Work independently or with a team depending on post assignment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid security license/certification (as required by state law)
• Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications:

• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
