Job Description

Job Opening: Part-Time Resource Teacher for Elementary School

Location: Sherman Oaks, CA

Start Date: August 2025

Schedule: Part-Time: Monday-Thursday 7:45am to 1:00PM Friday 7:45am-12PM, but TBD.

Provide resources and support for students in elementary grades in the general studies curriculum.

Responsibilities:

In coordination with teachers and supervisor, determine which students require the additional resources, and identify what those resource needs are.
Address and support diverse learning needs to promote student success, including organizing and documenting SST meetings.
Teach (push-in/pull-out) resource groups of students.
Provide input to teachers on student’s progress.

Other duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities:

Part of group responsible for testing and assessment of incoming students, including students from Emek’s Early Childhood Center to students coming from outside schools.

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Education. Plus if it's in Special Education.

Compensation: $30,000-35,000
