Job Title: PEGA Lead System Architect

Address: New Jersey

Contract Duration: 5 Months (possibility of extension)

Interview Type: Web Cam Interview

Work Mode: Hybrid (2 days onsite, 3 days remote)

Summary:

The PEGA Certified Lead System Architect will oversee multiple teams of developers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements, process flows, and use cases into fully functioning applications.

Detailed Description:

  • Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience after obtaining the PEGA Lead System Architect certification and a minimum of 7 years of experience following PEGA Senior System Architect (SSA) certification.
  • A strong technical background in IT and a 4-year college degree or equivalent technical training are required.
  • The Lead System Architect will mentor and empower development teams while guiding the overall design and implementation process.

Responsibilities include:

  • Engaging with end users and technical staff to gather and document system and business requirements.
  • Designing complete solutions that meet both business and technical needs.
  • Developing user interfaces, service layers, data components, infrastructure, and security layers within the PEGA PRPC platform.
  • Establishing standards, creating reusable components, and developing repeatable processes.
  • Contributing to project planning, including resource allocation, team composition, and timeline development.
  • Mentoring team members to encourage consistency and boost productivity.
  • Reviewing and supporting technical deliverables throughout project lifecycle.
  • Ensuring adherence to team guidelines and presenting applications during review gates.

  • Exhibit strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
  • Demonstrate proficiency in PEGA business process modeling and change management
  • Contribute to functional design and development efforts
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business challenges
  • Translate functional needs into user stories
  • Lead Agile teams and support Agile ceremonies
  • Define acceptance criteria and support software testing
  • Maintain release documentation and product-related materials
  • Mentor junior developers and integrate best practices into PEGA development
  • Facilitate client workshops and support customer success initiatives
  • Execute other duties as needed
  • Must possess a robust IT background

Required Experience:

  • 12+ years of relevant IT experience
  • 7+ years in PEGA Lead Development
  • 7+ years of experience with Use Case Development
  • 7+ years working with DB2 and SQL Server
  • Proven experience in software development and delivery
  • Managing functional requirements across the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Agile development experience
  • Working closely with stakeholders and Lead Business Architects
  • Hands-on software deployment and configuration at the enterprise level
  • Creating documentation such as requirements, test cases, and training materials
