Job Description
The Photography & Creative Projects Manager will support the execution of photography initiatives for marketing, ecommerce, social media, advertising, and print. This role involves managing photoshoot logistics, coordinating with creative teams, maintaining schedules, styling photoshoots and video productions, and ensuring deliverables meet brand standards. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in overseeing pre-production, on-set operations, and post-production workflows.
This position will work in our Philadelphia studio Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with flexibility to work from home on Mondays and Fridays.
Key Responsibilities:
Photography Coordination & Support
- Manage all aspects of pre-production, including scheduling, booking talent, creating shot lists, and gathering required materials.
- Build and maintain styling directives, incorporating feedback from the Creative Director and Art Director.
- Source and pull accessories for shoots, collaborating closely with stylists to ensure styling aligns with seasonal collections and brand guidelines. Manage returns and our prop and accessories archive.
- Coordinate with photographers, stylists, and collaborators to ensure smooth execution of photoshoots.
- Research and manage logistics and bookings for shoot locations, booking transportation, accommodations, and securing necessary permits.
- Build sets, procure materials, and props for photoshoots
- Oversee on-set organization, maintaining schedules and ensuring all concepts are captured.
- Assist in selecting, coordinating, and liaising with videographers for additional content needs.
Post-Production Management
- Track editing schedules.
- Organize, archive, and manage digital photography assets for easy access and retrieval by the team.
- Ensure timely delivery of post-production work, collaborating with the graphic designer for integration into marketing materials.
Creative Collaboration
- Support brainstorming sessions, contributing innovative ideas for campaigns and visual concepts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (ecommerce, marketing, social media, and advertising) to confirm asset requirements and ensure alignment with overall brand goals.
Administrative Tasks
- Maintain project schedules, track deadlines, and manage deliverables for photography-related projects.
- Regularly update the Art Director on project progress and highlight any potential roadblocks.
- Assist with updating brand guidelines and ensuring they are shared with relevant teams.
- Assist with general day-to-day administrative tasks in the office
- Support cross-functional teams with events as needed - helping to create on-brand visual elements, and assisting with the planning and execution of day of events ensuring a positive customer experience
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in photography, design, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-5 years of experience in photoshoot coordination, production, or a related creative role.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with Google Drive, Figma, Milanote, and Asana is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of photography and photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom).
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally.
- A proactive attitude and keen attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working on set during photoshoots, including travel to location shoots (5-8 times per year).
- Must be able to work in our Philadelphia office Tuesday,Wednesday and Thursday.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and digital advertising and their asset requirements.
- Passion for creative storytelling, branding, and photography.
