Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licenced Physician Assistant in the state of Mississippi to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality DOT Physical assessments with a focus on Federal Regulations. As a Physician Assistant, you will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver occupational care, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
• Be proficient using computer programs, document physical findings according to DOT standards & regulations.
• Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations, including HIPAA standards.
• Be able to work independently.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of DOT guidelines & regulations.
• Ability to work effectively within a clinic envirnoment with public & other healthcare associates.
• The ability to perform blood draws
• Must be DOT specimen collector certified per DOT regulations or willing to get certified.
• Must be breath alcohol certified per DOT regulations or willing to get certified.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and healthcare teams effectively.
• Must BLS certified.
• All licensure must be up to date.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• No nights
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations: 1 year (Required)

Language:

• English (Required)

License/Certification:

• Physician Assistant License (Required)

• Ridgeland, MS 39157 (Preferred)
