Overview:

Headquartered in Birmingham, AL, our field operations are located throughout the Appalachian Basin in the states of Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. In 2021, Diversified announced our expansion into our Central Regional Focus Area, which includes producing areas within Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the safe oversite and or manipulation, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of upstream and downstream pipeline systems. Duties including but not limited to; Leak and pipe repair and installation, pipe patrol and LUF initiative, Pigging / freeze and fluid removal, Compliance and corrosion duties, valve repair and maintenance, Surface side upkeep including lease road maintenance and slide remediation, etc. As well as supporting all other operations departments, such as Compression, Construction, Compliance, Measurement, Well Ops., with repair and maintenance duties including ongoing plugging operations.

 

Special focus to be placed on:

  • Team support with scheduling and prioritizing of job duties in an effort to limit down time and increase volumes as much as possible.
  • Organizing of project specific personnel, equipment and materials in an effort to maximize efficiencies and project success.
  • Communicates and works respectfully with property owners and coordinates with land department when needed to limit issues and liabilities.
  • Monitor and review systems such as scada, cygnet and daily sales volumes to locate deficiencies and make timely repairs in an effort to maximize through put.
  • Works with EH&S and compliance departments to assure we abide by all company policies and procedures as well as all State and Federal regulations.
  • Assists Compliance department to schedule all compliance duties in Maximo / Data Splice to appropriate personnel and assure duties are completed on schedule.
  • System Analysis to locate possible interconnect sites for the purpose of lowering cost and increasing volumes.
  • Assisting District with development of O&M and Capital Budgets.
  • Forecasting and utilizing cost tracking sheet in an effort to lower cost and G&C rate.
  • Review, correct and sign process ( workflow ) invoices in a timely manner.
  • Perform any other related duties as requested or assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in engineering or business preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3 - 5 years experience in Oil and Gas operations preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of natural gas operations Including wells, measurement, compressors, and pipelines preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Able to effectively manage time and prioritize projects to meet established deadlines.
  • Demonstrate basic computer knowledge through effective use of a personal computer, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to learn company-specific applications.
  • Able to work and communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers, clients, and other external contacts.

The employee works in office areas as well as walking between offices on a large open-air campus. The employee is frequently required to sit for long periods; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach or lift with hands and arms up to 10 pounds, talk or hear, follow directions, and work in collaboration with others. The employee is occasionally required to stand; climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
