What you will gain
Our Summer Internship Program, beginning in June 2026, provides immersive training and introduction to Santander. You will be combining this training with practical experience on both technical and interpersonal skills, helping your development during the internship. 

The 2026 Santander Summer Internship Program is for undergraduate students and/or graduate level students who have an expected graduation date between December 2026 and May/June 2027. 

Santander US is a nationwide business with locations across the country. This position is located in Boston, MA .

•    The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location. 
Salary: $62,400/year

As a Portfolio Analyst intern, you will come out of this experience with an understanding of Santander Vendor Management process. You will gain direct knowledge of contracts and could include exposure to Ariba. You’ll learn Sara and Looking Ahead systems. 

Responsibilities of the Portfolio Analyst intern intern internship role may include but are not limited to:
•    Project Management – tracking tasks and milestones for various team projects
•    Reporting on the team projects 
•    Preparing decks for monthly third-party reporting
•    Preparing decks for ad hoc reporting
•    Agile or Jira assistance with the management of tasks and projects

What we are looking for
•    An undergraduate student with an expected graduation date between either December 2026 or May/June 2027.
•    Area of Study: (Business, Accounting)
•    Cumulative GPA is 3.0 or above.
•    Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and courage. 
•    Strong English communication skills both written and spoken required.
•    Analytical thinkers with a strong attention to detail. 
•    Organized and able to manage time and multiple tasks efficiently.
•    Ability to work independently on special projects.
•    Ability to effectively contribute to a team environment.

It would be nice to have
•    Coursework in or exposure to accounting, finance, economics, or business. (Preferred)
•    Experience in Microsoft Office products.  (Preferred)
•    Experience in (Excel and PowerPoint) software or system. (Preferred)
