Summary

Kiddie Academy of Upper Freehold has an exciting opportunity for an energetic, optimistic and inspiring educator to join us as an Assistant Preschool Teacher in our school district Preschool classroom. You'll bring a creative touch and caring attitude to our passionate team of child care professionals who make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families in our community every day. This position is 8:30-4:00 Monday through Friday. Anticipated start date January 2, 2024.

Salary: 30,000-35,000/year in accordance with the UFREA Negotiated Agreement

Duties

• Assist with implementation of Tools of the Mind Curriculum under direction of Lead Teacher (curriculum training available)
• Responsible for the assisting in the management and supervision of the classroom and children.
• Assist in observing each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem

 

Requirements

• A love for children and an ability to establish meaningful relationships
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (minimum)
• Candidate should have experience working with preschool students
• Possess effective communication, listening, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with parents
• Must participate in NJDOE Criminal History Clearance

Nice To Haves

Child Development Associate� (CDA) credential or at least 30 college credits in education or early childhood education
