  • Taxable Per Hour: $42
    
  • Overtime Per Hour (Taxable): $63
    
  • Weekly Fringe/Company Benefits (Non-Taxable): $197.20 ($4.93/hour)

Job Description

We are seeking skilled and experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses (ED RNs) to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced and challenging environment. Nurses will rotate across the Emergency Department (ED), First Encounter Station, and ED Annex, managing a broad spectrum of disease and injury, including trauma, acute psychiatry, STEMIs, and various emergent medical conditions.

Unit Overview:

• Main ED: 23 beds, including specialized rooms for mental health, isolation, GYN, and procedures.
  
• ED Annex: Fast-track area with four recliners and a dedicated medication room.
  
• First Encounter Station: Initial assessment area for triage and directing patients to the appropriate level of care.
  
• Top Diagnoses: Low back pain, chest pain, and essential hypertension.
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform triage and assessments, managing urgent and emergent care for patients across a broad spectrum of conditions.
  
• Administer medications, initiate IV therapy, and monitor telemetry.
  
• Assist with and perform emergency procedures to preserve life and limbs.
  
• Manage episodic exacerbations of chronic diseases.
  
• Facilitate patient discharges, external transfers, and documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  
• Provide leadership in delegating tasks to assistive personnel and ensuring high-quality care delivery.
  
• Respond to emergency situations efficiently, maintaining composure in a high-stress environment.
  

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted RN license in any U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia.
  
• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications.
  
• Minimum of 3years of experience in Emergency Room or Critical Care settings.
  
• Strong ability to work independently in a high-pressure, high-stakes environment.
  

Work Environment:

RNs will work in state-of-the-art facilities designed to support comprehensive patient care and collaboration. Ambulatory patients and those requiring immediate transport to higher levels of care are handled at the discretion of the attending physician.
