Position Overview :
We are looking for an experienced Estimator to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB) and steel building structures . You will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing project drawings, and coordinating with project teams to ensure efficient and successful bidding and project execution.
Key Responsibilities :
* Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for PEMB and steel building construction projects.
* Analyze project drawings, specifications, and site conditions to develop accurate material, labor, and equipment cost estimates.
* Collaborate with the project team to review scope, timelines, and budgets.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, material costs, and construction methods for PEMB and metal building structures.
* Develop and submit bid proposals, ensuring they are competitive and align with client requirements.
* Work with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather pricing and materials information.
* Review contracts and scope of work for accuracy and completeness.
* Provide post-bid support, including responding to client inquiries, revising estimates, and clarifying proposal details.
* Maintain accurate records of bids, proposals, and estimates for future reference.
Qualifications :
* 3+ years of experience estimating PEMB and steel building structures .
* Strong understanding of construction costs, methods, and materials for metal buildings.
* Proficiency in MBS sofwatre is required
* Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
* Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
* Knowledge of current industry pricing, codes, and standards for PEMB and metal structures.
