POSITION OVERVIEW:
The core function of the Salesforce Project Manager is to develop and manage the full development/implementation lifecycle, scope, timeline, resources, deliverables, issues, and escalations while continually managing client expectations. The Salesforce Project Manager will collaborate with project leadership to bring thought leadership and the full force of AGG to your engagements.
ROLE DUTIES
- Manage Salesforce projects with top-down oversight throughout the entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, quality, budget, and timeline.
- Lead Salesforce technical projects through the SDLC process and/or an agile, iterative process.
- Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
- Monitors and manages project financials, scope, and schedule to ensure the project stays on track for assigned client projects.
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day activities of the team and ensure adherence to enterprise standards in solutioning, project execution methodology, requirements gathering, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
- Tracks project risk, issues and clears impediments.
- Creates mitigation plans and escalates as necessary.
- Drive resolutions to decisions and risk mitigation.
- Adheres to the AGG Approach Methodology and possesses the ability to assess risks in the process, people, or technology and adjusts project plans to address accordingly.
- Drives implementations of high-quality cloud solutions.
- Achieves published company utilization targets.
- Participate in Pre-sales activities i.e., scoping, estimating, generating POCs, writing case studies, and project success stories.
- Acts as the primary day-to-day point of contact for the client and the operational aspects of the project. The objective is to build strong customer relationships.
- Lead, facilitate, and attend meetings; provide project status reporting to management; prepare and deliver client presentations and work products/prototypes.
- Facilitates or co-leads with the customer project manager regular status meetings with the project team, sponsors, and all stakeholders.
- Professional and confident while maintaining a focus on customer success.
- Collaborate with client and project team to gather requirements and design a solution that delivers all desired business value.
- Collaborate with teams to define and validate the functional and technical approach, strategy, and deliverables for the project.
- Be the functional and subject matter authority for the solution being developed for the client.
- Configure Salesforce.com as needed and load data into Salesforce.
- Assists consultant team members in the delivery of client presentations during requirements, design, pilot, and user acceptance testing sessions.
- Reviews deliverables prepared by the team before sharing with the client.
- Provides mentoring, guidance, and general care and feeding to project team members, including offshore team members.
- Other duties as requested by leadership.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE
- Required: 5+ years as a Technical Salesforce Project Manager, primarily in Salesforce implementations.
- PMP Certifications and Scrum Certifications are highly desired
- Experience in managing complete service delivery/project teams and delivering based on commitments.
- Provided technical solutioning leadership for scoping, estimation, planning, executing, and tracking deliverables on projects.
- Experience with the on/offshore model and delivering quality solutions
- Experience in investigating cross-functional business processes and envisioning the possibility of new or optimized business needs. Ability to work effectively and manage partnerships with external and internal key stakeholders.
- Ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences. Have an adaptable, flexible, and willing attitude toward learning new domain capabilities depending on the circumstances or requirements presented.
- Proven experience in implementing solutions in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, Force.com Platform, Salesforce Community Cloud & Lightning.
