Who We Are
Lawelawe is a Native Hawaiian Owned Small Disadvantaged Business (NHO SDB) that specializes in providing a range of services to federal government clients, including program management, digital solutions, human capital and training, and medical staffing. Lawelawe leverages our NHO status to secure federal contracts that not only drive business success but also support our overall mission to uplift economically disadvantaged Native Hawaiian families and preserve the Native Hawaiian heritage.

Who You Are 
The ideal candidate will guide the development and implementation of the monitoring and evaluation of the Kapapahuliau Climate Resilience Program. You will lead and coordinate the evaluation program per established timelines, collaborate with team members to ensure all deliverables are on time. 

Responsibilities

• Assist with evaluation design and data collection planning
• Design, test, and implement data collection materials for various collection methods.
• Assist with report and presentation development
• Participate in team meetings as required
• Design, test, and implement various data collection materials for various data collection methods
• Lead and/or participate in meetings and site visits with Native Hawaiian Organizations (NHOs) and other stakeholders.
• Lead report development (e.g., Evaluation Design Report, Baseline Report).
• Lead the development and implementation of monitoring and evaluation of the Kapapahuliau Climate Resilience Program.
• Oversee baseline data collection (including pilot testing of data collection approach).
• Collaborate with project team and client to ensure effective project management and coordination.

Lawelawe Training Services is an SBA Certified 8(a) Native Hawaiian Owned (NHO) SDB leveraging the capability and past performance of the Lawelawe family of companies. We were created to support the parent charity's nonprofit initiatives to uplift economically disadvantaged Native Hawaiian families and preserve the Native Hawaiian heritage. We specialize in performing: Program Management and Business Transformation; Human Capital and Training; Digital Solutions; and Medical Staffing, Healthcare and Health IT.

Here's what you need

• This role has the ability to be remote but residence within Honolulu is required
• Experience in climate change adaptation and resilience, with a focus on program evaluation and monitoring.
• Experience working with Native Hawaiian Organizations
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to travel as needed to site locations semi-frequently.
