Job Description:
Seeking a Sr. Unity Engineer with strong simulation and performance optimization skills to develop advanced simulation environments for a leading financial services firm.

Key Responsibilities

What you'll be doing:

• Simulation Development: Design and development of complex simulation systems and environments using Unity and other relevant technologies. Collaborate with cross functional teams to define requirements and objectives.
• Unity Expertise: Demonstrate an expert level understanding of the Unity game engine, including its core features, scripting, and asset integration capabilities. Leverage Unity's latest features and technologies to enhance simulations realism and performance.
• Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimization strategies to ensure smooth and efficient simulation experiences on various platforms and devices.
• Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of simulation systems to ensure stability, reliability, and accuracy of simulations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including other unity engineers, artists, designers, and SMEs to gather requirements and ensure seamless integration of simulation components.
• Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation for simulation systems, including design specifications, architecture, and implementation details.

What you need to succeed:

• 5+ years of extensive experience in Unity game engine development, with a strong portfolio demonstrating complex simulation projects
• Proficiency in C# programming and a solid understanding of object-oriented design principles
• In-depth knowledge of physics-based simulations, AI, and VR technologies
• Experience with performance profiling and optimization techniques of real-time simulations
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work on challenging and innovative projects
• Excellent communication and teamwork sills to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and the capability to mentor and guide junior team members
