Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Staff Accountant to support our financial operations. As a key team member, you will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, daily sales reconciliation, and cash & bank reconciliation. Your role will be essential in ensuring accurate and timely recording of company transactions. Key Responsibilities:

Manage the complete accounting cycle, including transactional updates, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, month-end journal entries, general ledger management, and year-end physical inventory.
Reconcile customer payments to maintain accurate accounts receivable reports.
Oversee customer payment portals, ensuring timely submission and payment coordination for invoices.
Ensure accurate customer invoicing and reconciliation for prompt account submissions.
Monitor vendor accounts to prevent overdue payments and ensure timely settlement.
Manage company cash flow and resource planning to optimize efficiency.
Track and process monthly commission accruals and payouts to sales representatives.
Liaise with financial institutions regarding banking activities, changes, and charges.
Review and approve purchase requisitions, ensuring they are within budget and properly authorized.
Required Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
3-5 years of general accounting experience.
Familiarity with Deltek CostPoint and related modules is a plus.
Solid understanding of GAAP and tax principles.
Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
Ability to work efficiently and adapt in a dynamic setting.
Strong integrity and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range: $76,000 to $85,000
