Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Club in West Orange, New Jersey is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.
Position Overview:
This role offers the opportunity to gain real-world experience across multiple areas, including golf operations, tournament management, teaching/coaching, and golf shop operations. Working closely with the Head Golf Professional, you will play a key role in delivering a premium member experience through daily operations.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Provide the highest level of customer service to members and their guests.
• Lead the golf portion of the Summer Camp.
• Assist the professional staff with tournament operations and golf shop management.
• Support the Assistant Golf Professional in junior golf programs, including clinics and events.
• Contribute ideas and feedback to improve processes and workflows.
Requirements:
Currently enrolled in a PGM program, working toward Class A PGA Membership.
Strong interest in tournament operations, merchandising, and teaching/coaching.
Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
