Take the helm in our Shipping/Receiving Department, where you'll lead and execute a variety of essential shipping and receiving tasks. As the Shipping & Receiving Team Lead, you'll ensure that every shipment is accurately handled and that all processes align with our high standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead & Train: Guide and mentor the Shipping and Receiving team, ensuring that every member is proficient in all tasks and fully equipped to meet the demands of the day.
• Schedule Management: Oversee the scheduling of shuttle services to ensure timely and efficient transportation.
• Collaborative Communication: Work closely with management to meet daily shipping and receiving goals, keeping everyone informed and aligned.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers, providing top-notch service with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• ands-On Operation: Operate essential material handling equipment, including dollies, pallet jacks, forklifts, and shrink-wrap machines, ensuring safe and efficient loading and unloading of materials.
• Adherence to Standards: Follow and enforce established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, with a focus on continuous quality improvement, safety, and environmental practices.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all equipment and supplies are properly maintained, promoting a safe and efficient work environment.
• Versatile Support: Be ready to tackle any miscellaneous duties as needed, whether directly related to shipping and receiving or other tasks within the facility.
• Inventory Control: Conduct cycle counts and audit inventory to maintain accuracy and accountability.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• 3 to 5 years of related work experience in shipping and receiving
