Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Workday Integration Consultant with intermediate-level expertise to support the implementation of Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) and Financial Management for a higher education system comprising 22 distinct institutions. The consultant will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing integrations to ensure seamless functionality and data flow across the Workday ecosystem and external systems. This role requires strong technical skills, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document integration requirements for Workday HCM and Financial Management implementations across 22 institutions.
  • Design, develop, and test Workday integrations using tools such as Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Connectors, and Orchestrate.
  • Create and maintain detailed Integration Specification Documentation to ensure clarity and alignment with business needs.
  • Configure and customize integrations to connect Workday with external systems, ensuring data accuracy, security, and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, providing ongoing support and optimization.
  • Work closely with functional teams, IT, and third-party vendors to ensure successful integration delivery and alignment with project timelines.
  • Participate in testing, validation, and deployment of integrations to ensure seamless functionality in a multi-institution environment.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and training to internal teams on integration processes and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Workday Integrations Certification (required).
  • Intermediate-level experience with Workday integration tools, including Workday Studio, EIB, Connectors, and Orchestrate.
  • Proven experience in requirements gathering and creating integration specification documentation.
  • Strong understanding of Workday HCM and Financial Management modules.
  • Experience implementing Workday integrations in complex, multi-entity environments, preferably in higher education or similar sectors.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot integration issues effectively.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse stakeholders across 22 institutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within project timelines.
  • Familiarity with data security, compliance, and integration best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in higher education or large-scale, multi-institution Workday implementations.
  • Knowledge of additional Workday modules or tools (e.g., Workday Prism, Reporting).
  • Background in integrating Workday with third-party systems commonly used in higher education (e.g., student information systems, payroll, or financial systems).
