Robert Half Legal has partnered with a growing defense firm in Murrieta in search for a Litigation Attorney. It is an excellent opportunity for someone junior/mid level to come in and become a partner or help take over some of the load from the managing partner. Salary for the role is budgeted to 140K, they offer a hybrid work schedule and offer strong benefits. Billable hours are targeting around 1800 but the firm prides themself on great work/life balance. Responsibilities for the role include:
+ Handle litigated files with minimal supervision
+ Attend and defend depositions
+ Prepare legal motions, briefs, and pleadings
+ Prepare and respond to written discovery
+ Prepare reports to clients on case status
Requirements
+ J.D. from an accredited law school
+ Strong communication and writing skills
+ Strong legal knowledge
+ Able to work with firm paralegals and staff
+ Prefer candidate with 2-4 years of experience in civil litigation
