Description of the role: The role of a barista at Holiday Inn Fargo is to prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages and other refreshments to hotel guests and customers. The barista is responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service and providing a positive overall experience. Our Coffee shop has a vast supply of retail items that help make our guests comfortable and even has options for gifts to bring home. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, such as espresso, cappuccinos, and lattes
• Take and fill customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and work area
• Monthly inventories of all items
• Handle cash and operate the cash register
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing any concerns
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies

• Prior experience as a barista or in the food and beverage industry is preferred
• Knowledge and passion for coffee and coffee preparation methods
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
• Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
