Job Description

Position:  Document Control Specialist

Location: Bellevue, WA (Local applicants only)

Duration: 1 year Contract





System One is seeking a highly motivated Document Control Specialist to support a long-term contract role on-site in Bellevue, WA. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, a demonstrated commitment to excellence, flexibility, as well as the ability to interface with co-workers in a professional, approachable, and positive manner. The candidate will work closely with systems engineers and configuration managers. The candidate will also have broad demonstrated experience editing documents in Microsoft Word.



Responsibilities:

  • Assist engineers with preparing and submitting documents to project partners and internal document control specialists.
  • Review documents for compliance with configuration management processes.
  • Address common issues in documents (e.g., captions, cross-references, formatting) and update content to align with the latest templates.
  • Mentor our client’s organization on documentation best practices and work instructions.
  • Configure and update project Atlassian Confluence pages and Jira database.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of customer-facing work experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge and experience in electronic document and metadata management, preferably in a regulated or technical environment.
  • Experience with product data management software suites.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
