Job Summary (List Format) IT Developer Support (Congressional Budget Office)
- Develop and maintain application and backend services using C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, JavaScript, jQuery, Node.js, CSS, AWS Cloud, SQL, and GitHub Enterprise.
- Automate tasks using scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Perl.
- Design, develop, and maintain web services with experience in MVC, WCF, and Web APIs.
- Create and maintain user interfaces (UI) using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and libraries like jQuery, Node.js, Chart.js, Bootstrap, and Ajax.
- Manage and optimize relational databases, including advanced SQL development, stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning.
- Build web applications using ASP.NET Core with proficiency in MVC architecture, RESTful APIs, middleware, dependency injection, security features, and Razor syntax.
- Utilize jQuery for DOM manipulation, event handling, AJAX requests, and plugin integration/customization.
- Develop responsive web applications using Bootstrap, including grid system layouts, component customization, and theming with CSS/SASS.
- Run and monitor software performance tests to identify and correct errors, improve processes, and debug issues.
- Analyze test results and provide solutions to problem areas.
- Install and upgrade software products as needed.
- Write programming scripts to enhance functionality and appearance of web applications and websites.
- Provision and maintain development environments (local, virtual, or cloud-based).
- Design, deploy, and maintain deployment scripts and artifact repositories.
- Automate routine development tasks such as code formatting, testing, and linting.
- Perform other operational support tasks as assigned.
